Delete your Sunburnt Santa account

Sunburnt Santa is made by Benjamin Cooney ([trading name, e.g. Vibe DM]). You can delete your account and its data at any time. You don't need an account to keep playing as a guest.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Sunburnt Santa and go to the Me tab.
2. Scroll to Your data.
3. Tap Delete my account, then Delete to confirm.

It happens straight away and signs you out.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email [support email] from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within [7 days], then email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in, email, name, @handle, TikTok and Instagram handles and postcode.
• Your scores, rounds, Christmas points and leaderboard places.
• Your elf code, recruit records, notification token, problem reports and saved purchase link.

What we keep, and for how long

• Hashed device ids (a one-way scramble of your device's id, with no link to the deleted account), so the same device can't be counted as a new recruit twice. Kept for the life of the competition plus [12 months].
• Purchase records that tax law requires us to keep (store, transaction id, date, amount), for up to [7 years].
• Competition winner records (if you won a prize), as long as the law requires.
• Usage statistics that are no longer linked to you.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel or refund a Remove Ads purchase; that's handled by Apple or Google. Scores and progress on your device stay there until you uninstall the app.
